Postcards from LXQ2-T
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 1:39 Last night I got my very first Capital kill - a Legion of XXDeathXX Nyx in LXQ2-T. *\o/* The Russians really didn’t want us profiting from it, they even had bombers on standby to bomb the wreck. Grudging respect.
LXQ has been a real eye-opener for me - my first big nullsec engagement somehow happened to also be the biggest pvp event in gaming history, and it’s still going. At some point I’m going to have to jump out and rearm; I’m finding out just how useful it is to have an alt with a Blockade Runner transport.
Enjoy the pics!
The PX gate just before the Station came out of reinforced. 1620 in Local. Blob much?
Eat this, Jita.
X.I.X Iridium Plaza just before the reinforce timer expired and the lag began.
Iridium Plaza, now “LXQ2 000 Is Not Enough”… and reinforced by X.I.X
Bored waiting for Russians? Try a lowsec roam!
Day 2: lower numbers, just as shooty.
A few blues stand a patient vigil over the POS bubbles - affectionately known as a “rape cage”
X.I.X Nyx SuperCarrier in trouble of the hurty and expensive type.
The doomed Nyx just before he self destructed. The twat. Yes, that’s a blue Leviathan Titan, and yes, it was awesome.\o/

Nice that someone finaly seen the fact that this was prolly the biggest engagement in history of MMO. <3 EVE!
daaaymn!!!!
Scuttling your own ship to avoid having anything fall into the hands of the enemy is a perfectly reasonable and viable tactic.
The only shame is the lack of killmail on self-destructs. It'd be nice to see what they had fit.
The head understands that, but the heart wants the KM!
